By drawing together an impressive range of national and international speakers, from academia, from industry and from the sector, this year’s UK Museums on the Web conference explores how a raft of new projects and initiatives are beginning to take museums into a new era of online integration.

Tom joined Ofcom in September 2007 - previously he was at the forefront of much of the BBC's new media strategy since joining the corporation in 2001 as Head of Broadband. He co-authored 'Building Public Value', the BBC's strategic vision for the next ten years, and also lead a major review of the BBC's activities on the Web.
